WINE COUNTRY LOVER'S TOUR
8:00 - 9:00 AM
Pick-up for your Wine Country Lover's Tour at your San Francisco hotel in downtown or Fisherman's Wharf area.
9:20 - 9:40 AM
Cross the Golden Gate Bridge and drive up to Marin Headlands, enjoy a less frequented vista point to get spectacular views of the Golden Gate Bridge, Alcatraz, Angel Island, the Bay Bridge, and the San Francisco Skyline.
9:40 - 10:40 AM
Drive through the Wine Country to Sonoma & Napa Countres.
10:40 - 12:00 AM
Visit selected boutique wineries of the beaten path, less frequented by tourists.(Varies depending on guide & passengers)
12:00 - 1:00 PM
Visit historical downtown Sonoma a real taste of the old west. In Sonoma, the once capital of the Independent Republic of California, we visit the Solano Mission built under Mexican rule in 1823, the old army barracks, Hotel Toscano with its old west saloon, the Sonoma Cheese factory, have lunch (you can bring your own or purchase some there) and more.
1:00 - 4:00 PM
Drive further into the wine country lover's tour and try delicious hand-crafted wines. On the wine country tour you will learn about the wine making process in California and what makes the California wine country so special.
4:00 - 4:30 PM
Drive to Marin County towards Sausalito and its picturesque floating homes, a great photo opportunity of San Francisco. Drive back to San Francisco or take an optional ferry back to San Francisco (Fisherman's Wharf or San Francisco ferry terminal).
5:00 - 5:30 PM
Drop off at your San Francisco Hotel's front door.
